Hernan reported that his yesterday-journey from Kiel took twelve hours. Train to Berlin, flight delays into Venice fog, and then the journeying here. Yow.
My morning: extreme tiredness fell. And guitar practising: a variation of the First Primary.
Lunch at 13.00. More people have arrived.

16.41 Hernan has delivered a Beaudoux GC Pro…
… belonging to John H., leant for me to use during the course and replacing the Ovation I have been using since my arrival. The GC Pro is size-calibrated to match a Les Paul, so I do not have to reset my playing. And various catchings-up with Director, Registrar and Promoter Nunez.
We have only one more person to arrive: a Polish gentleman driving here.

Epicycle, the Paris GC trio, played Prayer Of Gratitude, twice. Around the tables: thirty-seven, with a Mother and Child elsewhere. After the first course, warnings were given to those here for the first time, encouraging them to leave. Then excellent flan with whipped cream was served, encouraging all to stay.
Inaugural Meeting called for 21.00.
21.42 Our course was acknowledged underway at 21.06. Thirty-seven within the Circle, a Mother and Child upstairs; and moving around the Circle saying who we are, where we come from, what brought us here and our aim/s for the course.
RF: What brought me here: this is my work in life. Three aims:
1. To help those here for the first time to establish a practice of becoming present. Without this we are not: nothing happens, everything happens to us. When present, we move to establish a foundation on the instrument. After two or three years, honourably undertaken, this foundation may be sufficiently established to support our playing.
2. To help those with an established foundation to deepen their practice.
3. To be available to what is required:
may I have the clarity to see what is required of me;
may I have the courage to accept what is required of me;
may I have the capacity to discharge what is required of me.
Words of utility and necessity were spoken.
